Almost everyone who hears or heard in the past metal in Israel knows Yishai Sweartz, the person who for about 25 years is responsible for the arrival of hundreds of metal bands in Israel, from Kreator, Behemoth, Paradise Lost and Sabaton, through Mayhem, Symphony X and Cannibal Corpe and Satyricon to Rotting Christ, Nightwish and Agalloch, while on the way also performances that are close to the metal world such as Sisters Of Mercy, Death In June, And One and many more.
The man who was responsible in the 90s for most of the metal discs you bought in stores, published the “Rockpoint” magazine, helped re-establish the Metalshop and the list goes on.
Unfortunately, we learned that Yishai underwent a complex operation last month, although it was successful: it will require him to cut his work rate in half, when there is really no assistance from the state as a self-employed person.
We, the Israeli bands and friends, who have received help, support, and support from him all these years have decided: to lift the glove and hold a special appreciation evening in his honor, we don’t know how much it will change the economic situation but we could not remain indifferent.
We all united for an event full of support and love for the man who can now say and prove that he has metal in his heart….
The performances will start at 19:00 and will continue through the night.

כמעט כל מי ששומע או שמע בעבר מטאל בארץ מכיר את ישי שוורץ, האדם שבמשך כ 25 שנה אחראי להגעתן של מאות להקות מטאל לארץ, מ Kreator, Behemoth, Paradise Lost ו Sabaton, דרך Mayhem, Symphony X ו Cannibal Corpe ו Satyricon ועד ל Rotting Christ, Nightwish ו Agalloch, כשעל הדרך גם הופעות שקרובות לעולם המטאל כמו Sisters Of Mercy, Death In June, And One ועוד רבים.
הבנאדם שהיה אחראי בשנות ה 90 על רוב הדיסקים של המטאל שרכשתם בחנויות, הוציא את מגזין “רוקפויינט”, עזר להקים מחדש את המטאלשופ והרשימה ארוכה.
לצערנו נודע לנו כי ישי עבר בחודש האחרון ניתוח מורכב למרות שהצליח: יחייב אותו להוריד את קצב העבודה בחצי כשמצד המדינה כעצמאי אין באמת סיוע.
החלטנו אנחנו, הלהקות הישראליות וחברים, שקיבלנו ממנו עזרה, במות, ותמיכה כל השנים: להרים את הכפפה ולקיים לכבודו ערב הוקרה מיוחד, אנחנו לא יודעים עד כמה זה ישנה את תמונת המצב הכלכלית אך לא יכלנו להשאר אדישים.
התאחדנו כולנו לאירוע שכולו תמיכה ואהבה לאיש שעכשיו יכול לומר ולהוכיח שיש לו מתכת בלב….
האירוע אף הגיע לאוזניו של Adam Nergal Darski סולן BEHEMOTH וחבר ותיק של ישי שהגיב מיד במשפט אחד “אני לוקח מטוס ומגיע להיות על הבמה”, Nergal שהתמודד בהצלחה עם סרטן הדם לפני כעשור לא שכח את אותה תקופה ששלחה את ישי לבית החולים איכילוב על מנת לעשות בדיקת התאמת מח עצם להשתלה עבור חברו.
באירוע יופיע Nergal עם חברי ORPHANED LAND קובי פרחי, אורי זלכה וחן בלבוס בביצועים מיוחדים וחד פעמיים לאירוע ויארחו את גיטריסט העבר של הלהקה יוסי סאסי.
ההופעות יחלו כבר ב 19:00 ויימשכו את תוך הלילה.
