With joy and excitement we announce the beginning of the most beautiful season of the year –
The season of the raga.
This special event, all dedicated to the magical sounds of India’s Subcontinent, happens again, for the 6th time!
The Raja Mala, which has already become a tradition, is the Israeli version of music festivals in India where they rest in the day and play all night long.
Every hour has its own raga, and every hour, one after the other, the best musicians and the best accompanists come to the hour of live music written on the spot.
The musical tradition is passed on from generation to generation within the family, for thousands of years, and tells the story of the unique Indian culture.
This coming August, one after the other, the best musicians in Israel, the ones who studied this magical tradition, and the ones who sat down, will spend the night learning the secrets of the raga and sharing them with us.
