Radio Baghdad returns to the show in Tarab ★
Radio Baghdad is a trio performing the Iraqi songs that came to Israel with the immigration of Iraqi Jews in the 1950s. The minimalistic and rapturous sound, the waves echoing a deep longing, the slowness applied against the rhythmic ups will provide us with a feeling that sometimes, especially with Radio Baghdad, the key to joy – can be the pain.

רדיו בגדד הוא הרכב טריו המבצע את שירי המקאם העיראקי אשר הגיעו ארצה עם עליית יהודי עיראק בשנות ה-50. הסאונד המינימליסטי והרפטטיבי, המוואלים המהדהדים געגוע עמוק, האיטיות המרוחה למול העליות הקצביות יספקו לנו תחושה שלפעמים, בעיקר עם רדיו בגדד, המפתח לשמחה – יכול להיות הכאב.
