Radio Baghdad returns to Tarab and this time with a significant reinforcement.
Radio Baghdad – a trio performing the Iraqi Makam songs that came to Israel with the immigration of Iraqi Jews in the 1950s. The minimalistic and rapturous sound, the waves echoing a deep longing, the slowness applied against the rhythmic ups will provide us with a feeling that sometimes, especially with Radio Baghdad, the key to joy – can be the pain.
The performance will be divided into 2:
Part I of the Iraqi maqam music as appropriate for Baghdad Radio
And Part II will be dedicated to the classics of Egyptian music played and sung by the great Ariel Cohen.

רדיו בגדד חוזרים לטרב והפעם עם חיזוק משמעותי: אריאל כהן – מנהל אומנותי ומנצח תזמורת פירקת אלנור, נגן כלי הקשה וזמר.
רדיו בגדד – טריו המבצע את שירי המקאם העיראקי אשר הגיעו ארצה עם עליית יהודי עיראק בשנות ה-50. הסאונד המינימליסטי והרפטטיבי, המוואלים המהדהדים געגוע עמוק, האיטיות המרוחה למול העליות הקצביות יספקו לנו תחושה שלפעמים, בעיקר עם רדיו בגדד, המפתח לשמחה – יכול להיות הכאב.
ההופעה תתחלק ל-2:
חלק א’ של מוזיקת המקאם העיראקי כראוי לרדיו בגדד
וחלק ב’ יוקדש לקלאסיקות מהמוזיקה המצרית בנגינתו ובשירתו של אריאל כהן הנהדר.
