Every day, we are exposed to hundreds of ads – Facebook, Twitter, television, bus signs, the list goes on and on. Our brains are inundated with information that we simply cannot process it all. But what effect do these messages implicitly have on our brains? How can racist ads subliminally affect the way we view a product? A person? An ethnicity?

On Sunday June 25th Shlomi Hatuka, Israeli writer and activist, will speak about the presence and effects of racism in advertisement. Join English-speakers from around Israel for this interesting coffee shop talk sponsored by Tebeka, a leading advocate for Ethiopian Israelis.

The event will take place at קפה שפירא in Tel Aviv.

Please message Tebeka if you plan on attending.
