An indictment was filed against the prime minister.
Indictment that deals with conflict of interest, promoting foreign interests through public office. An indictment testifying to serious harm to the purity of the measure during a public service, in a manner that fatally harms the public’s trust in the government and its representatives.
Accordingly, we believe that there is no alternative but that Prime Minister Netanyahu will resign, both from his position as Prime Minister, and from his various positions as Minister of Health and Diaspora, as well as Deputy Minister of Labor, Deputy Minister of Welfare and Social Services, and Acting Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development. Continuing his tenure in the various positions is an extremely unlikely decision that will hurt the entire country.
Continuing the term of a person with serious indictments as a minister, and moreover, as prime minister, is a violation of the moral level expected of elected officials, and will require action as soon as possible. Benjamin Netanyahu must oust himself from all his duties in government.
