“I often feel that people come to me to be photographed as they would come to a doctor or a fortune-teller-to know their condition. Well, they depend on me, I have to fascinate them. Otherwise, there is nothing to photograph. Concentration must come from me and wrap them. Time stands still. We share intense intimacy, short-lived. But this is an intimacy they did not bother. She has no past … She has no future. And when the role of the model ends – when the picture is ready – there is nothing left but the photograph and a certain kind of embarrassment. They’re leaving … and I do not know them. If I meet them a week later in a room I expect they will not recognize me. Because I do not feel I was really there. ”

At a time when social networks dominate our world and the profile picture is the primary representation outward, there is a real need for an image that will represent us best.
On Tuesday, September 25, 2011, we will hold a photo album of the social networks.
The members of the Salon Group 5 invite you to come and take pictures – to upgrade your profile pictures. Various photographic positions will be set up throughout the Kennedy House. You can choose which background to be photographed and what Polaroid film and digital camera. The group consists of artists and photographers, graduates of Bezalel. Everyone has his unique photography practice and the camera he works with.
Hours 17: 00-22: 00
