Four days of art that breaks boundaries, art that has overcome various limitations along the way, and this is what makes it fascinating and innovative than ever before.
We were privileged to witness this wonder every day. Blind, partially sighted, deaf and hard of hearing actors go through an artistic and communicative process together, overcoming every possible obstacle on the way, just to reach your heart.
We are happy to invite you to watch, be excited and be a part of this magic at the Please Touch festival of boundary-breaking art. A variety of shows and experiences are already open for sale, and more surprises will be added later.
The design of this year’s festival was inspired by photography by Oren Schwartz, a photographer with Asher syndrome type 2, characterized by severe hearing impairment and retinal degeneration. Oren turned the difficulty into an inspiration for his art, and produces spectacular photographs even in particularly challenging lighting conditions. A selection of Oren’s photographs will also be presented at the festival.

עיצוב הפסטיבל השנה בהשראת צילום של אורן שוורץ, צלם עם תסמונת אשר מסוג 2, המאופיינת בפגיעה קשה בשמיעה ובניוון הרשתית. אורן הפך את הקושי להשראה עבור האומנות שלו, ומוציא צילומים מרהיבים גם בתנאי תאורה מאתגרים במיוחד. מבחר הצילומים של אורן יוצג גם כן בפסטיבל.
