We are excited to announce Pia Luchi’s first visit to Israel as part of her tour throughout Europe. Wandering Tour 2019

Pia, an American singer from the Oregon Mountains, a songwriter and a gifted musician who plays on many instruments, draws inspiration from the Celtic roots and European folk music tradition of her forefathers, Bringing ancient music to our modern world, like water from a deep well.

In a larky voice and with the agility of her mouth, she dances between folk songs from various traditions, from children’s ballet and Gaelic lamentations from the 17th century, to Waulking folk songs and songs by Bulgarian mountain folk.

In recent years, Pia has wandered around the world to find ancient melodies that have matured over time, working to respect the language and stories of each culture, and bringing herself into every song she adopts.

“As she moves effortlessly between Hungarian lullabies and Scottish dance songs, proverbs from pro and original poets, her mouth forms a circle of prayer-like songs that often penetrate and permeate with her soft voice and restrained melodies, to which Groove joins and enriches the audience.” World Music Central

The ensemble surrounds her with rich vocal vocal harmonies, energetic paraphernalia and complex guitar playing, and together with her playing on Cherngon and Harmonium, a rich and organic tapestry is created. Her hypnotic appearance offers the rebirth of traditional musical treasures, combined with an impressive repertoire of her original songs. Her mouth expresses her vision and passion through concerts, workshops and activities to promote environmental conservation and groups for the preservation of indigenous rights.

In 2018 she released the album 2018 with the Grammy winner Peter Qatar.
In 2016 she released the album “Beauty Thunders”.
