It’s not a dream: Oscar and the Wolf is on its way to Israel. After 13 years behind the mysterious stage name, this year Max Colombi’s electronic citrus-pop group released a successful mini-album called “Afterglow”, which was followed by a successful tour. The group performed in front of packed parks at festivals in Europe, and within a few minutes sold out all the tickets for shows in the Netherlands, France, Italy and England – and now he announces a stop in one of his favorite places, according to him: Tel Aviv. Open diaries (or phones, who even has a diary?): This will happen at Reading 3 on September 27th.

The Belgian musician creates a rather rare fusion of electronic pop alongside emotional soul music. The unique style helped him break out of the indie slot into the hearts of millions around the world, and in Israel as well. Columbi started working under the stage name “Oscar and the Wolf” already in 2010 but the big success came exactly a decade ago, when he released the single “Orange Sky”, something that attracted the attention of no less than the late Lou Reed, who chose it as his warm-up shows.
