Combinations of rock, metal along with Jewish poetry, piyyutim and prayer in both Hebrew and Arabic. A combination of ethnic-eastern music with rock.
Orphaned Land was founded in the early 1990s and has been operating for 26 years.
Behind it are five successful albums that have produced many hits and a loyal audience in Israel and the world that accompanies them all along. The band’s international success crosses religions and countries and is gaining popularity in the world, especially in Europe, and unprecedented admiration in Turkey and the Arab countries.

Over the years, the band has collaborated with a variety of musicians from Israel and around the world, including Metallica, Steven Wilson, Mira Awad, Kobi Aflalo, Yehuda Poliker, Yehuda Caesar and many more.

The new album is hosted by Steve Hackett, guitarist “Genesis”. The connection was created following a search conducted by the Act for artists working for peace between people, and not surprisingly he chose Orphaned Land.
Kobi was hosted on Act’s album “The Night Siren” in “West to East” while Hackett recorded a guitar solo for the band’s new album.
The band has performed in many countries and festivals around the world, so far in 47 countries and is currently touring internationally with the new album.
