As you know, the metal community in Israel is a small community.
This is a community where everyone knows everyone, even without knowing each other personally.
When one of us goes, something in all of us breaks.
That’s why on 25.2 (Sunday) we will all unite in memory of Yotam Haim and Guy Boyland, the redheaded kibbutzniks of Israeli metal, who left us too soon and with great pain.

Guy Boyland:
Guy was born in New Zealand and immigrated to Israel with his parents when he was 6 years old.
He grew up in Kibbutz Ginosar and was a metal player with all his limbs, a talented guitarist, and in his last years he played in the band Silent Sin.
The late Guy Boyland (21) fell in battle in Operation Tzuk Eitan in 2014.
Yotam Haim:
Yotam was born and grew up in Kibbutz Glotov and in recent years lived in the youth neighborhood of Kfar Gaza.
He was the drummer of the metalcore band Persephore and he became an integral part of it when he joined it about a year ago.
Yotam faced many difficulties, physical and mental throughout his life but chose life every morning anew.
The late Yotam Haim (28) was accidentally shot by our forces after he was kidnapped to Gaza in the October 7 attack.

כשאחד מאיתנו הולך, משהו בכולנו נשבר.
לכן ב-25.2 (יום א׳) נתאחד כולנו לזכרם של יותם חיים וגיא בוילנד, הקיבוצניקים הג׳ינג׳ים של המטאל הישראלי, שהלכו מאיתנו מוקדם מדי ובכאב גדול.☆ ☆ ☆
גיא בוילנד:
גיא נולד בניו זילנד ועלה לישראל יחד עם הוריו כשהיה בן 6.
הוא גדל בקיבוץ גינוסר והיה מטאליסט בכל רמ״ח איבריו, גיטריסט מוכשר,
ובשנותיו האחרונות ניגן בלהקת Silent Sin.
גיא בוילנד ז״ל (21) נפל בקרב במבצע צוק איתן בשנת 2014.
יותם חיים:
יותם נולד וגדל בקיבוץ גבולות ובשנים האחרונות התגורר בשכונת הצעירים של כפר עזה.
הוא היה המתופף של להקת המטאלקור Persephore והוא הפך לחלק בלתי נפרד ממנה כשהצטרף אליה לפני כשנה.
יותם התמודד עם הרבה קשיים, פיזיים ונפשיים לאורך חייו אך בחר בחיים בכל בוקר מחדש.
יותם חיים ז״ל (28) נהרג מירי כוחותינו בשוגג לאחר שנחטף לעזה במתקפת ה-7 באוקטובר.
