Gordon Gallery cordially invites you to join us at the opening reception of two solo exhibitions by the artist Know Hope aka Addam Yekutieli.
‘It Took Me Till Now To Find You’ will be exhibited in the main space (5 Hazerem St.).
Simultaneously, Gordon Gallery Now (at 6 Hapelech St.), will present selected works by Yekutieli from the years 2010-2015.

The exhibition ‘It Took Me Till Now To Find You’ takes the form of a large scale installation, that essentially is the product of a project in which the artist collected letters written by Israelis and Palestinians from all backgrounds, and recontextualized their words by carving them into the surface of replicas of the Segregation Wall.
Dealing with notions of belonging, homeland and longing, ‘It Took me Till Now to Find You’ is a meditation on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict from a human standing point and attempt to reflect on this ongoing political reality as if it were an emotional mechanism.
After initially being exhibited in London at LAZ Inc., this is the first opportunity to see this project in the region with which it deals.

The second solo exhibition, ‘Remind Me of Its Shape: Works from 2010-2015’ is a survey of works from the artist’s studio archives.
Focused on iconographic works, this exhibition allows insight to the visual language created by the artist throughout the years.
