The nature that appears in Neta’s works in the volume cannot be tamed. It is tangled, twisted, twisted, infected with decay and prone to monstrosity. He refuses to be modest and carries himself demonstratively through the stacking of painting layers made of oil paints, acrylics, a collage of pieces of old paintings and a combination of soft materials such as fabrics, threads and nylon. In nature as in the works themselves, the processes of maturation and development are of crucial importance and in turn creates a decadent and mesmerizing arena through them, where the images seem to have flexibility and physical presence, weight and place in the world.
In the exhibition “The Evening Asks the Dawn to Hear It” Bachrach walks between beauty and impermanence, between light and impermanence and reflects on the mechanisms of the human soul and the cycle of life through nature as a leading motif. She places compassion and tenderness in a wide body of work that contains, among other things, vulnerability, darkness and abysmal sorrow. In this way, she expresses internal struggles and turns a stubborn gaze to the anxiety of death in an attempt to touch the veins of the reality that surrounds us.

Neta Bachrach (born 1980) was born in Haifa, lives and creates in Tel Aviv. Second year student in the Master of Arts (MFA) program at Bezalel. Graduated with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in law from Reichman (2005), Tel Aviv University and Northwestern University Chicago (2011). Member of the Hanina Cooperative Gallery (2019-2023). Presented solo and group exhibitions at Alma – House of Hebrew Culture (2022), Hanina Gallery (2021), Maya Gallery (2021), Common Art Salon (2020), Mansher (2019), the Independent Artists’ Incubator at the Fresh Color Fair (2019).

הטבע המופיע בעבודותיה של נטע בכרך בלתי ניתן לאילוף. הוא סבוך, יצרי, מעוות, נגוע בריקבון ונוטה למפלצתיות. הוא מסרב להצטנע ונישא בהפגנתיות מבעד למערום שכבות הציור העשויות צבעי שמן, אקריליק, קולאג’ של פיסות ציורים ישנים ושילוב של חומרים רכים כמו בדים, חוטים וניילון. בטבע כמו בעבודות עצמן, לתהליכי הבשלה והתפתחות יש חשיבות מכרעת ובכרך יוצרת באמצעותם זירה דקדנטית ומהפנטת, בה נדמה שלדימויים יש גמישות ונוכחות פיזית, משקל ומקום בעולם.
בתערוכה ״הערב מבקש מהשחר שישמע אותו״ בכרך פוסעת בין יופי לארעיות, בין אור לחידלון ומהרהרת על מנגנוני הנפש האנושית ועל מחזור החיים דרך הטבע כמוטיב מוביל. היא משבצת חמלה ורוך בגוף עבודות רחב הטומן בחובו בין השאר, פגיעות, אופל וצער תהומי. בצורה זו, היא מביאה לידי ביטוי מאבקים פנימיים ומפנה מבט עיקש אל חרדת המוות בניסיון לגעת בנימי המציאות הסובבת אותנו.

נטע בכרך (נ.1980) נולדה בחיפה, חיה ויוצרת בתל אביב. סטודנטית שנה ב׳ בתכנית לתואר השני באמנות (MFA) בבצלאל. בוגרת תואר ראשון ושני במשפטים ברייכמן (2005), אוניברסיטת תל אביב ואוניברסיטת נורת’ווסטרן שיקגו (2011). חברה בגלריה השיתופית חנינא (2019-23). הציגה תערוכות יחיד וקבוצתיות בעלמא – בית לתרבות עברית (2022), גלריה חנינא (2021), גלריה מאיה (2021), סלון משותף לאמנות (2020), מנשר (2019), חממת האמנים העצמאיים ביריד צבע טרי (2019).
