Six years after his latest album “Fallout”, Noam Rotem released his new album “Circle of Light” which was received with enthusiastic reactions. The White Blanket, the song that opens the album and was also the first single from it won rave reviews (“The Best Rock Song of the Year”) and entered the various playlists on radio and streaming services. The album is a collection of songs surrounded by a frame that creates a story that develops throughout the listening. Just like in a movie or book, a journey that begins in one step outside the familiar and safe circle of light into the unknown beyond the darkness. This is the fifth album by Noam Rotem, the charismatic soloist of Ice Nine, who has signed some of the brightest pearls in the Israeli soundtrack. His album “Help on the Road” is considered a masterpiece.

שש שנים אחרי אלבומו האחרון “נשורת”, נעם רותם הוציא את אלבומו החדש “מעגל האור” שהתקבל ישר בתגובות נלהבות. השמיכה הלבנה, השיר הפותח את האלבום וגם היה הסינגל הראשון מתוכו זכה לביקורות נפלאות (“שיר הרוק הטוב של השנה”) ונכנס לפלייליסטים השונים ברדיו ובשירותי הסטרימינג. האלבום הוא אסופת שירים שסביבם מסגרת שיוצרת סיפור שהולך ומתפתח לאורך ההאזנה. ממש כמו בסרט או ספר, מסע שמתחיל בצעד אחד מחוץ למעגל האור המוכר והבטוח אל הלא נודע שמעבר לחושך. זהו אלבומו החמישי של נעם רותם, סולנה הכריזמטי של קרח תשע שחתום על כמה מהפנינים הבוהקות ביותר בפסקול הישראלי. אלבומו “עזרה בדרך” נחשב ליצירת מופת.
על האלבום עבד נעם בימי הסגר הראשון של הקורונה עם מיני סופר גרופ שכולל את עובד אפרת (הקליק, אהוד בנאי) שהפיק מוזיקלית, גבע אלון, ג’נגו על הבס, עודד פרח (ברי סחרוף, רעש) בתופים, טל הפטר בפסנתר ורביעיית המיתרים של קרני פוסטל. כעת עולה המופע לרגל יציאת האלבום עם נבחרת החלומות: עובד אפרת, עודד פרח, ג’נגו, עופר קורן, טל הפטר ואורח מיוחד גבע אלון.
