Almacen - Hapninim 1, Tel Aviv, FREE

You are invited to a festive opening of a pinhole photography artwork by Iliya Roginsky.

“When people talk about photography, it’s presented as an action that freeze the moment. I always found it stressful. The ability to shot dozens and hundreds of frames per second. And in which frames the photographer needs to decide so much, for example: the composition, the exposure, guster etc…” say Iliya when you ask him about his relationship with photography.

“All the images in this pinhole photography artwork, were taken for a time period between 6 minutes to 8 hours. In this way I had enough time to digest my thought, browse through my thought, think about the next frame and interact with the model.
It remind me of a draw that is made without moving my palm”.

ILIYA ROGINSKY, Born in Feodosia, USSR.
Lives and works in Haifa, Israel.
