What Really Happened to Michael Hutchins, And how is the most sexy rocker ever to come from Australia? He died at the age of 38? Director Richard Lowenstein, who also directed many of the clips of “Inks”, tries to unravel the mystery that has been troubling Hutchins fans for more than a decade –
To this end, he speaks with his family, his loved ones, including Kylie Minogue and Helena Christensen, and his close friends, and also accompanies Hutchins’ turbulent years in London, his life with Paula Yates and his addiction to drugs. The charismatic Hutchins starred in the diverse archive material in the film: on the stage, behind the scenes, in very private moments and in honest conversations with the camera. In the soundtrack “Inks” hits the film, also included recordings of Hutchins that have never been distributed to the
