The “Impressions” competition for short Israeli films takes place this year for the eighth time. The competition is the result of a joint initiative of Impro – a studio for acting in cinema, television and theater and the Tel Aviv Cinematheque. It was founded in 2010 to encourage the short Israeli film and to encourage cooperation between professional filmmakers and acting students in Impro, Who completed a three-year training course.
During the eight years of the festival, we brought to the production of about 200 short films in a world premiere, many of the competition films in previous years, were received and won in film festivals in Israel and abroad. Exactly 5 minutes. Without any style, subject, genre, or cinematic language limitations. Come see the young actors and creators of Israeli cinema.
Cinematheque subscribers and guests are invited to come and watch all the competition films starting at 18:00.
