***Meditation for Climate TLV***
On Monday (Sept. 7), we will join together in meditation in service to a more beautiful world. This practice will guided in English and held in Kikar Bialik by donation—100% of proceeds go towards the Forest City-עיר יער project.
Using yoga and meditation as a tool for social change, these weekly practices are birthed from the intention of cultivating meaningful relationships with our bodies, local landscapes, and living planet. It is in this spirit that we unite to lay the groundwork for positive transformation and a deep healing for all life on Earth in a time of crisis.
~About the Forest City-עיר יער Vision~
The Forest-City vision embodies a new perception of the urban landscape as a living environment in which nature is integrated as an integral part of creating a new complex. Instead of endless expanses of concrete and asphalt, cities are covered in the green of rich and beneficial vegetation. It is a radical, holistic response to climate crisis. More specifically, it addresses warming, greenhouse gas emissions, air pollution, waste, and floods—all of which are a direct product of urban planning that is detached from nature.
