Four years after the release of the piyutim album, “There is a Childhood in Childhood” that has become a modern classic and a milestone in the world of piyyut, and two years after the end of “Gula Gandum” the masterpiece in Farsi, the pianist and creative singer Maureen Nehedar launches a festive and moving performance at the Piano Festival Far, “with 11 songs, all of them in Maureen’s original tunes.
Maureen will combine songs from the three albums with new and surprising arrangements. The combination of the piano and Maureen’s hypnotizing voice creates a unique, unforgettable experience that sketches a range of emotions and rhythms that Maureen wins with stage stage dramas and thrilling clarifications. Maureen is one of the leaders of the world music scene in Israel, one of the most prominent in the field of Jewish music renewal, and performs in leading festivals in Israel and around the world.
