Photo Jolie is pleased to announce the third meeting of the Lumos Maxima program: a new and special program for video art and experimental film directed by Kerem Natour. Once a month, the studio hosts an artist for a screening evening after the screening.

This time, we are delighted to host artist Roee Rosen. Roy Rosen (born 1963) is an artist, author and filmmaker. Rosen is a professor at the Midrasha, Beit Berl College, Kfar Saba, and the Bezalel Academy of Art, Jerusalem. Rosen devoted years to his fictional female character, surrealist painter and Belgian-Jewish zealotist Justin Franck, a production of all her works, as well as a book and a short film, “Two Women and a Man” (2005). In his premiere, the film won an honorable mention at the Oberhausen International Film Festival. The book, “Justine Frank, Sweet Sweat” (Hebrew, Babel 2001, Sternberg-Persia, 2009) was named one of the best books of the year in Art-Forum.

On the evening of the screening we will watch the films:
Screensaver, 2016
Two Women and a Man, 2005
