Gidi Gov and guests at the Mann Auditorium!
On November 8, 1993, four days after Channel 2 went into the air, Telad’s first show, “Lila Gov”, was first broadcast. “Layla Gov” was aired for five consecutive seasons until 1998 and returned to one more season in 2002. Over the years, the program has become a “mythology.” Along with the many characters, skits and corners it has brought to the world, Of Gidi at the beginning of the show and the closing song at the end.
More than 150 songs were renewed in the closing songs of “Lila Gov”. These were usually duets with a variety of artists, duets created especially for the program and which were not included in the repertoire of the guest artist or of Gidi. Cover versions of old and new songs, which were specially adapted by the best musicians (Alon Olearchick, Adi Rennert, Rami Kleinstein, Izhar Ashdot, Ilan Mochiach, Shem-Tov Levi and more) and which were recorded in five CDs.
