Last February, Lenny Ross released his debut album, musically produced by Ben Golan.

The album conducts a deep dialogue with giants such as Tim Buckley, Bret Jansch, Tim Hardin, John Martin and Steven Stills – in the great seam between personal writing, unique lyrics and groundbreaking guitar playing.

An album that highlights the direct connection between writing, voice and guitar. In the tradition of the resurgent folk giants of the sixties and seventies of the last century.

Despite his young age and the fact that the songs on the album were written during his high school years, it is difficult to talk about Lenny in terms of “promise”, since already in his first steps we meet a unique talent, with a surprising maturity – in writing, composing, playing the guitar and in general in his approach to the world.

Lenny’s music is a well-spring, expressive, not necessarily a space that sprouts from making a conscious decision or an orderly planning.

Like a renaissance man – Lenny works in many fields of art, he writes, composes and plays, but also paints, photographs and designs (personally responsible for all the covers that accompany the singles and the album). Dealing with the everyday and the mundane alongside dealing with the mystical and the sublime.

An artistic-spiritual movement of one man that seems to move between generations in a pulsating way.

The songs from the album AM I Lenny Ross, on which the main part of the performance will be based, will be performed in a duo together with cellist Emmanuel Reichman Poleg.

Emanuel has been playing and living the cello since the age of three, has performed around Europe at festivals and concerts, over time she realized that her musical path is not to follow the classical track, but to break through in a variety of styles. And on this is based the uniqueness of her rich and rare language – melodies fly and fill the space around with waves – even if they are not written at all in advance, and come to her in the moment.
Emanuel’s playing throughout the performance will realize the solid and pure magic of the happening as it is in its nature, and together with the guitar and vocals will cast something new, unique and mesmerizing.

In addition, two surprising and promising musicians will join to play some new songs in the second half of the show.
The eclectic trio will reveal the folk sound at its best and in performances rich in harmonies.
The trio consists of Guy Meler on bass, Barak Yitzhari on acoustic guitar and Lenny on electric guitar.
