Namal Tel Aviv - Namal Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv,

In a modern rendition of the “Ten Days of Repentance” between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, there is a new Israeli tradition that has been built in recent years marking the ten days leading up to Yom Ha’atzmaut (Independence Day) as “Ten Days of Todah (Thanksgiving)”.

The Shabbat commemorates these ten days of gratitude and concludes Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day), Yom HaZikaron (Memorial Day) and Yom Ha’atzmaut.

This is a special Shabbat for the Israeli public, as it is dedicated to recognizing and being thankful for the good: what we have achieved as individuals, as a society, as a people and as a state.

Beit Tefilah Israeli, in cooperation with the Tel Aviv Port, will mark this festive Shabbat with a musical Kabbalat Shabbat that will focus on the theme of gratitude.

“Shabbat Todah” – Friday, April 20, 2018 between 6:00 – 7:30pm.
A musical, happy Kabbalat Shabbat that’s suitable for everyone 🙂

Join us as we thank, celebrate and be happy – in Israel’s 70th year!

Entrance is free. Everyone is invited!
