Knowledge worth sharing! Therefore, in each episode of the Jazz Head series, a local will tell us about their favorite Jazz Head and play inspiring and mind-expanding pieces that will be played only from records.

At this meeting Assaf Amdursky – a local pop legend, a groundbreaking creator and producer and a huge jazz head will tell us from his point of view about Hancock – one of the greatest musicians of the 20th century, a pioneer and a breaker of conventions in each of the stages of the evolution of jazz from the B-bop days to Today. A genius pianist, keyboardist and composer who has been consistently expanding the term jazz since the 1960s, with each of his albums pushing human consciousness forward a few steps.

לפני שנים נחתה עלינו ההבנה, יש א/נשים שחיים בינינו שהם גופי ידע מוזיקלי, אוצרים בתוכם אינסוף פיסות מידע קטנות וגדולות על המוזיקה שהכי עושה לנו את זה.
לא אותו מידע טריוויאלי שאפשר למצוא בחיפוש מהיר בוויקיפדיה.
מידע של מעמקים, של דיגרים – אושיות שחפרו ז’אנר מוזיקלי לאורכו ולרוחבו בחיפוש אינסופי אחר הסאונד המדויק, הקשר בין הנגנים ובינם לבין הלייבל, המפיק/ה, הטכנאי/ת, הקונטקסט ההיסטורי, ההקשר הסגנוני, המיקום הגאוגרפי שבו נוצרה המוזיקה והרשימה נמשכת…
ידע ראוי לחלוק! לכן בכל פרק בסדרה ג’אז הד מקומי/ת יספרו לנו על הג’אז הד האהוב/ה עליהם וישמיעו קטעים מעוררי השראה ומרחיבי תודעה שינוגנו מתקליטים בלבד.

במפגש זה אסף אמדורסקי – אגדת פופ מקומית, יוצר ומפיק פורץ דרך וג’אז הד עצום יספר לנו מנקודת מבטו על הרבי הנקוק – אחד מגדולי המוזיקאים במאה ה-20, חלוץ ושובר מוסכמות בכל אחד משלבי האבולוציה של הג’אז מימי הבי-בופ ועד היום. פסנתרן, קלידן ומלחין גאון שעוסק באופן עקבי מאז שנות ה-60 בהרחבת המונח ג’אז, כשכל אלבום שלו דוחף קדימה את התודעה האנושית בעוד כמה צעדים.
