Contact Improv is a form of improvised dance that developed in the 1970s in the USA and contains an investigation of the body in relation to others by using the principles of weight distribution, touch and conscious movement.
Jam Association is a space that enables a meeting between people who are interested in exploring and experimenting with improvisation on the move with people with different abilities and movement limitations. Sometimes accompanied by improvised live music.
Usually at the contact association’s jams we will start with a movement session led by an experienced teacher whose goal is to give tools and inspiration for the jam. The space is open to anyone who wants to experience it. No prior experience or abilities or limitations are necessary.
* We recommend coming dressed in comfortable clothes; Pants that cover the knees and allow movement on the floor, and a t-shirt (not a tank top) for a more pleasant encounter with other bodies.
+ A warm recommendation for the hot summer days is to bring an extra shirt to change 🙂

קונטקט אימפרו׳ היא צורה של ריקוד מאולתר שהתפתח בשנות ה-70 בארה״ב ומכיל בתוכו חקירה של הגוף ביחס ובהתייחסות לאחרים על ידי שימוש בעקרונות של חלוקת משקל, מגע ותנועה מודעת.
״קונטקט אימפרוביזציה דומה לצורות מוכרות של דואטים כמו אמנויות לחימה, גלישת גלים, התאבקות, ג׳יטרבאג, שמכיל בתוכו מנעד רחב של תנועה מחוסר תזוזה לאתלטיות מאומצת״ (ננסי סטארק סמית׳)
ג׳אם קונטקט הוא מרחב המאפשר מפגש בין אנשים שמעוניינים לחקור ולהתנסות באלתור בתנועה עם אנשים בעלי יכולות ומגבלות תנועה שונות. לעיתים מלווה במוזיקה חיה מאולתרת.
בדרך כלל בג׳אמים של עמותת הקונטקט נתחיל בסשן תנועה מונחה על ידי מורה מנוסה שמטרתו לתת כלים והשראה לקראת הג׳אם. המרחב פתוח לכל מי שחפץ להתנסות בכך. אין צורך בנסיון קודם או יכולות או מגבלות.
* ממליצים לבוא לבושים בבגדים נוחים; מכנסיים שמכסים את הברכיים ומאפשרים תנועה על הריצפה, וחולצת טי-שירט (ולא גופייה) למפגש יותר נעים עם גופים אחרים.
+ המלצה חמה לימי הקיץ החמים היא להביא חולצה נוספת להחלפה 🙂
