Join us for a magical Jaffa photo marathon! From the oldest active port in the world through spaces of urban innovation and artist communities, to picturesque alleys, breathtaking views and unique architecture.
The photography marathon is a celebration with the participation of hundreds of photographers who take part in a group and personal experience based on secret photography challenges. During the day of the marathon, five photography challenges will be sent to you which you will have to complete in a limited period of time. At the end of the marathon, the photos are submitted to the judges anonymously and without any identifying marks through a dedicated website. Judging is done according to accepted standards and while paying attention to the participants’ compliance with the goals of the challenges, prizes will be awarded to the winners of the first three places.
What does participation in the marathon include?
* A fascinating photography journey around the port of Jaffa and old Jaffa, which consists of five different photography challenges
* Participant kit and designed shirt of the Jaffa Port and Old Jaffa photo marathon
* Instruction and photography tips from the marathon’s professional team
* The first 10 places in the marathon will be displayed on the marathon website and in a dedicated newsletter
* Prizes for the winners of the first three places
The marathon will start on Friday 20.10 from the container house in the port of Jaffa
