About the Aeropress Competition:
From Tim Williams, one of the founders of this world event,
“The AeroPress competition was started as a light-hearted and fun response to the stuffiness of the existing coffee competition circuit. Our officious and sombre stamp logo was intended to be a tongue-in-cheek jibe at the formality of the WBC and its offshoots. But as we’ve grown over the last nine years the irony of the branding has become lost, and far too many people take us (and themselves) far too seriously.

We felt it was time we dragged all the hosts, spectators, competitors, and sponsors back to the irreverent and informal roots of the AeroPress Championships.”

Aka, this coffee event is a big excuse to throw an awesome party and connect coffee lovers. We hope you’ll join us in the celebration.
