It’s finally happening!
Two years to the day after the heartbreaking, last minute, covid induced cancellation of modern folk star, Patty Gurdy’s performance, Patty is coming to Israel to join forces with Israeli Prog metal monsters, Scardust.
Israeli Symphonic Prog Metal extraordinaires, Scardust, are known for their theatrical and energetic live shows as well virtuoso vocal and instrumental performances. Following the release of their critically acclaimed second full length album in October 2020, the band has performed whenever possible, headline the IMF festival in Tel Aviv as well as performing in live stream to thousands of fans around the world.
Patty Gurdy is a young folk pioneer, known for her popular youtube channel as well as her brilliant hurdy gurdy skills. Patty brought this ancient instrument to the worlds of rock and pop and made it accessible to new audiences, spearheading a revival in the instrument’s popularity among millions around the world.
Patty has become an inseparable part of the Scardust family, due to her close friendship with Noa Gruman, singer of the band. In 2019, Patty participated in the band’s performance in Berlin after which they wrote the song “Concrete Cages” part of the album “Strangers” which was recorded and released in 2020.
In the summer of 2019, Scardust toured the UK with Patty and has been waiting to join forces again ever since.

שנתיים בדיוק אחרי שהביקור האגדי של כוכבת הפולק, פאטי גארדי, התבטל בכאב לב בדקה ה90 בגלל המגיפה, היא מגיעה לישראל להופעה משותפת עם מפלצות הפרוג של סקארדאסט.
להקת הפרוג הסימפוני הישראלית סקארדאסט, ידועה בהופעותיה התיאטרליות ומלאות האנרגיה, ובנגינה ושירה וירטואוזית. מאז צאת אלבומה המלא השני ועטור השבחים באוקטובר 2020, הלהקה הופיעה בכל הזדמנות אפשרית, בין היתר כהדליינרית בפסטיבל IMF בתל אביב, ובהופעות לייבסטרים מול אלפי מעריצים מרחבי העולם.
פאטי גארדי היא חלוצה צעירה בעולם הפולק, הידועה כיוטיוברית ונגנית הארדי גארדי מבריקה. פאטי הביאה את הכלי העתיק אל עולם הרוק והפופ והנגישה אותו למיליוני מעריצים בכל העולם.
פאטי הפכה לחלק בלתי נפרד ממשפחת סקארדאסט בעקבות החברות הקרובה שלה עם נועה, סולנית הלהקה. פאטי התארחה בהופעה של סקארדרסט בברלין ב2019, שלאחריה נכתב עבורה השיר Concrete Cages מתוך האלבום Strangers שהוקלט ויצא ב2020. בקיץ 2019 הלהקה קיימה טור משותף עם פאטי ברחבי אנגליה, ומאז החבורה מחכה להתאחד מחדש.
