We are pleased to invite you to the opening of Merav Salomon’s only exhibition “Mausoleum” as part of the 2019 Illustration Week events by
Rav Salomon | Illustrator and Visual Writer, Professor of Illustration in the Visual Communication Department at Bezalel, creates mosaic ink stamps that are a circus tent, a canopy bed and a desk.
The illustrations in the exhibition originate from rubber stamps created especially from Salomon’s line drawings, and are the vocabulary of the exhibition Bridal. Thus, in a laborious act of staining, printing, and reproduction, the mausoleum from a monumental tomb estate becomes a temple of tales of time and kidney, voice and place.
