The Hotline for Refugees and Migrants, the French Institute in Israel, and the French Research Center in Jerusalem are honored to invite you to the “I’ll Be Your Mirror” exhibition.
The opening will take place on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 19:30 at the French Institute gallery – 7, Rothschild Boulevard, Tel Aviv. It will be preceded by a gallery talk at 18:00.
The exhibition will present works by the artists:
Selam Mamush
Naka Pitia
Tsegay Berhe
Tesfalem Fissaha
The paintings are the result of a five-month workshop coordinated and facilitated by Dr. Karen Akoka, Hamutal Sadan, and Inbal Egoz. In the workshop, the artists explored the “Mirror” as a representation of the power of art to reflect the complex relationship of the artist to themselves, to their immediate environment, and to Israeli society. The exhibition will be on display until August 25th, 2023.
