We are delighted to present another mindfull night where you will be taken on a journey through hip hop culture; and this time we are presenting London.
GRIME
Through out the globe, between different regions or burues hip hop has it’s unique sound, language and style. We are excited to invite you to a night breaking down Grime music origins, development, underground scene and names that have crossed over to popular music helping put grime on the map; for example Skepta most recently appearing on Drakes More Life playlist.
Don’t worry, Roots Manuva, Lady Leshurr, Wiley, Nadia Rose, Stefflon Don and more will all get acknowledgment through this hour of Londons hip hop culture dip.
Get your swimwear ready we are gonna jump from the Meditranian to River Thames.
We are honored to present Adi Noy, our Hip Hop Guru. Adi is a DJ here in Tel Aviv and has educated us on hip hops origin on our last encounter. Adi has a remarkable sound and knowledge of Hip Hop and will give us a run through of Grimes history and development combining a LIVE set in a one hoour session.
So what are we talking about?
– Alcohol
– Videos of art, music, style and all that combines Grime elements will be shown.
– An amazing performance by Adi Noy with legend and underground grime songs and artists combined with explanations on the significance of this hip hop culture located so far away from it’s origins in the Bronx, New-York.
– The night will start in London, mid 90’s, where it ends is up to you.
