Life is not back on track yet… but we are. with a dog’s heart, which was to be shown on the third Tuesday of that October. A sharp satire on Bolshevism, a screen adaptation of Mikhail Bulgakov’s ingenious book, written in 1925, when communism in the Soviet Union, at first glance, began to lose its height. The publication of the story was banned in the USSR, but it was distributed through Smizdat, until it was published only in 1987. The film, which was released a year after the book was printed, was broadcast on the main television channel of Soviet television, was admired and attracted many readers to Bulgakov’s original text.
