Levontin 7 - Levontin 7, Tel Aviv, 60 NIS

Hayelala is hosting Guy Mintus on the Levontin 7 floor as part of the Piano Festival.

Hayelala is a solo-folk band that travels the world with the singing and music it brings – original folk music, a men’s choir inspired by the black groove of the gospel, and the heartbreaking trumpet of the Lebanese Ibrahim Maalouf.
They sing a poetics that tells of the heart of man, and is closely connected to a world of grass, sea, rock, lightning and thunder. Singing, lamentation, and chanting that might bring the wounded person into wonder.
The first album is scheduled to be released in the spring of 2019.
Guy Mintus is an international jazz pianist who recently released his first chilling album.
This is the second time they have joined together to create worlds, to create and improvise together transparent archaeological structures that may be caused by the momentary and one-time magic of this encounter and the music that emanates from it.
