Hamodi Almahdi is proud to present: First solo exhibition – “Time Crisis” – Curated by Erez Bialer.

“This exhibition addresses everything that has to do with our race against time: Age, life period, past, future, what we would do if we could rewind a few years back, and about future accomplishments we are eager to achieve. This conflict in current times between who I would like to be, to present, to accomplish, is what keeps on the questions, like Do I want to live the moment or work on my future? What am I missing right now? What have I been missing then?”

Hamodi Almahdi (b. 1995) is a self-trained digital artist, a gay man and a Muslim arab, who lives in Tel Aviv with his partner and their 2 dogs. He creates digital images from his own life and experiences, and in this solo exhibit he created a world which reflects on his time perception, illusions, fears and wishes.

Even though Hamodi’s life is very unique, these “Time Crisis” elements are universal, and anyone can relate. This exhibit peels away the dividing onion layers of the human experience, like background, language, and culture, into a presentation of concept-visuals, which relate to one another, like light, sound and image design.
There will be an installation constructed especially for this exhibition, and a set of printed images which will accompany it.

This exhibition will be presented in Abraham’s Tel Aviv during one weekend from October 19th at 19:00 to October 21st at 19:00. Entrance is free.
