5 musicians create in original materials from their songs, banded together into one ensemble.
Sapir Wallach, Ella Schick Blum, Ruth Shuali, Aviv Pek and Adi Shaham have been active in the local scene in recent years and see the musical work as a way to express what is on their minds. Creating music serves each and every one of them together as a tool to overcome a struggle that each has experienced in her personal life story. What the five creators have in common is the challenge they offer the listener. They all create rough, thought-provoking music, the opposite of banal. Music that explores the mind in depth and deals with vulnerable and exposed content, from struggling parents, eating disorders, childhood in the periphery and more.

After each went through a significant path in her work, performing on stages and festivals around the country and forming an audience for herself in the local scene, they join forces for a joint show. In the show “Good at being a baby”, each artist plays a different instrument and together as a band they perform selected songs from each other’s repertoire. The result is a personal and exciting show, kicking but close.

ספיר וולך, אלה שיק בלום, רות שועלי, אביב פק ועדי שחם פעילות בסצנה המקומית בשנים האחרונות ורואות ביצירה המוזיקלית דרך לבטא את שבנפשן. יצירת מוזיקה משמשת כל אחת מהן ואת כולן יחד ככלי להתגברות על מאבק שכל אחת חוותה בסיפור חייה האישי. המשותף לחמשת היוצרות הוא באתגר שהן מציעות למאזין. כולן יוצרות מוזיקה מחוספסת, מעוררת מחשבה, ההפך מבנאלית. מוזיקה שחוקרת את הנפש לעומקה ועוסקת בתכנים פגיעים וחשופים, החל מהורים מתמודדי נפש, הפרעות אכילה, ילדות בפריפריה ועוד.

לאחר שכל אחת עברה דרך משמעותית ביצירה שלה, הופיעה על במות ופסטיבלים ברחבי הארץ וגיבשה לעצמה קהל בסצנה המקומית, הן מאחדות כוחות למופע משותף. במופע “טובה בלהיות מותק” כל יוצרת מנגנת על כלי אחר ויחד כלהקה הן מבצעות שירים נבחרים מהרפרטואר של כל אחת. התוצאה היא מופע אישי ומרגש, בועט אבל קרוב.
