The Israel Accessibility Association in collaboration with the Municipality of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, the Municipal Sports Authority, the Port of Tel Aviv and the Ministry of Culture and Sports will hold the event “Feel Accessibility 2023”, an experiential, educational and valuable event for the whole family. The purpose of the event, which will be held at the Port of Tel Aviv near the sandbox, on Friday, May 12, from 12:00, is to raise awareness of accessibility, disabled sports, people with disabilities and the potential inherent in them. The event will be open with free admission to the general public.

The event will take place in the air, at sea and on land and will include: a flotilla of sailboats and yachts in front of the Tel Aviv port, a reconnaissance flight of light aircraft and helicopters along the beaches of Tel Aviv-Jaffa and Herzliya – with the participation of pilots and children with disabilities, experiential experience stations combining exhibition games in disabled sports and the wild sports funning Olympic for promoting positive awareness of accessibility, disabled sports, people with disabilities and the potential inherent in them.

The event will bring together the general public without disabilities with people with various disabilities and expose them to the daily struggles of about one million six hundred thousand Israelis through experiential and fun experiences in a variety of challenging activities such as: creating colorful graffiti without using hands, getting to know sign language and exposure to the world of the deaf, sports games Such as wheelchair basketball, wheelchair tennis, goal ball (soccer for the blind) with blindfolds, hand bikes and tandem bicycles with blindfolds, a wheelchair obstacle course and more.

The Israel Accessibility Association, which is celebrating 24 years of activity, is holding the event for the ninth year, in cooperation with the Disabled Sports Association, the Paralympic Committee, the Municipality of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, the Municipal Sports Authority, the Port of Tel Aviv, the Ministry of Culture and Sports and the IDF Disabled Organization.
