Our brain is programmed for development and learning throughout life. In recent decades, following amazing technological breakthroughs that allow you to peep into the depths of the brain, researchers are discovering the incredible flexibility of the brain that allows us to acquire new skills, think creatively and learn all the time.

Dr. Liat Yakir, who specializes in molecular genetics and is a graduate of the Weizmann Institute of Science, will be hosting Funzing Talks for a fascinating lecture that will expose you to brain research studies that shed light on the processes of learning, processing, and memory in the brain. Parental therapy affects brain design and learning, what is the role of emotions, and how does technology affect our learning abilities and that of our children?

Dr. Liat Yakir’s research focuses on biochemistry, genetics and evolution, and is currently an initiator in the field of genomics and lectures on the evolutionary roots of human emotions and behavior, as an expert on the “Wedding at First Sight” program. Very much in making science for a better society.
