Wed 26 September 2018 | 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Dizzy Frishdon - Dizengoff 112, Tel Aviv,

On Wednesday, September 26, we will host Dr. Danny Zeevi at the “Think & Drink Different” meetings at Dizy Frishdon in a lecture on the genetic engineering revolution.

What is genetic engineering in humans and how does all this wonder happen? How can genes be changed and what genes should we change? Is it possible today to choose the color of the eyes, height and intelligence of our baby? How do we cure diseases that until recently were considered incurable through genetic engineering?
And when can we make spare parts for ourselves?

In recent years there have been dramatic developments in our ability to change the human genome to our advantage. Dr. Danny Zeevi, a genetics researcher, will be hosted at Think & Drink Different and will tell you about the latest discoveries in the field of genetic engineering, about the new world it opens to us and its impact on the life span of us all.

Dr. Danny Zeevi performed postdoctoral research in human genetics at Princeton and UCLA Universities, and holds a doctorate in genetics from the Weizmann Institute.
