Hilma af Klint was the pioneer of abstract painting. In 1901 the world was not ready to recognize a Swedish woman, inspired by voices of another dimension. Her hypnotic works recently exhibited at the Guggenheim Museum in New York, revolutionized the perception of art history.

Before the screening, a short talk will be held with Ruti Direktor, Curator of Contemporary Art at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, where Ruti will talk about the exhibition “There is a new era: the spiritual in art” which will open in August 2019. This film is about the history of art as a dynamic story and the possibility of rewriting the history of modern art.

After the screening will be held a Q & A with the film director Halina Dyrschka
