The body and the audience as an expression tool of the creator in dance
This artistic framework of curtain-up invites the viewer to be exposed to interesting and fresh dance works. But no less, it is an opportunity to create a wide and panoramic view of contemporary Israeli dance. This year’s directors have deliberately chosen to expand the stylistic range of dance works presented, thus allowing viewers exposure to a variety of artistic styles, original ways of thinking, different working methods, different approaches to the body and stage, and social trends.
