What is the place of man as an individual, as a creator and also as an educator of subsequent generations of creators in a new world, intriguing and promising – but also threatening?
Shenkar College and Portfolio Magazine, in collaboration with the Tab Tab Tab Collective, will hold a multidisciplinary conference on December 7 that will present the meeting of artificial intelligence (AI) applications with creativity and culture: design, art, photography, illustration, architecture, fashion, advertising, music and more. The conference, which will be held at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, will serve as a platform for discussing the future of art in the age of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
As part of the conference, we will hold an experiential and unmediated meeting as possible with some of these tools, technologies and concepts (Midjourney, Dall-E, Stable Diffusion, Deep Fake, etc.) – which have already become an integral part of the digital landscape – as well as with creators and artists active in the field. We will try to answer the (at least) million dollar question: are these tools likely to replace the creator and increase human creativity and imagination, or will technology become just another option in the existing toolbox?
The conference will include several sessions with leading speakers from the world of academia and key figures from the fields of culture, academia, high-tech, technology, media and communication and will include fascinating and inspiring lectures and panels. מהו מקומו של האדם כאינדיבידואל, כיוצר וגם כמחנך דורות המשך של יוצרים בעולם חדש, מסקרן ומבטיח – אבל גם מאיים?
מכללת שנקר ומגזין פורטפוליו, בשיתוף פעולה עם קולקטיב טאב טאב טאב, יקיימו ב־7 בדצמבר כנס רב־תחומי שיציג את המפגש של יישומי הבינה המלאכותית (AI) עם היצירה והתרבות: עיצוב, אמנות, צילום, איור, אדריכלות, אופנה, פרסום, מוזיקה ועוד. הכנס, שיתקיים במוזיאון תל אביב לאמנות, ישמש במה לדיון בעתידה של היצירה בעידן של בינה מלאכותית ולמידת מכונה.
במסגרת הכנס נערוך מפגש חוויתי ובלתי אמצעי ככל האפשר עם חלק מהכלים, הטכנולוגיות והמושגים הללו (Midjourney, Dall-E, Stable Diffusion, Deep Fake וכו׳) – שכבר הפכו לחלק בלתי נפרד מהנוף הדיגיטלי – כמו גם עם יוצרים ואמנים פעילים בתחום. ננסה לענות על שאלת ה(לפחות) מיליון דולר: האם הכלים האלה עשויים להחליף את היוצר ולייתר את היצירתיות והדמיון האנושיים, או שמא הטכנולוגיה תהפוך להיות רק אופציה נוספת בארגז הכלים הקיים?
הכנס יכלול מספר מושבים עם דוברים מובילים מעולם האקדמיה ודמויות מפתח מתחומי התרבות, האקדמיה, ההיי־טק, הטכנולוגיה, המדיה והתקשורת ויכלול הרצאות ופאנלים מרתקים ומעוררי השראה. רשימת הדוברים המלאה תתפרסם בקרוב!
