The Contact association is happy to cooperate with the 2023 International Dance and Disability Conference in an integrated association jam that will be held at the end of the conference.

It is recommended to arrive about fifteen minutes before, the session will start on time.
The jam will be accompanied by live music.
The cost of participation is NIS 40.
*The entrance to the jam is free of charge for the conference participants.

Contact Improv is a form of improvised dance that developed in the 1970s in the USA and contains an investigation of the body in relation to others by using the principles of weight distribution, touch and conscious movement.
Jam Contact is a space that enables a meeting between people who are interested in exploring and experimenting with improvisation on the move with people with different abilities and movement limitations. Sometimes accompanied by improvised live music.
Usually at the contact association’s jams we will start with a movement session led by an experienced teacher whose goal is to give tools and inspiration for the jam. The space is open to anyone who wants to experience it. No prior experience or abilities or limitations are necessary.
