Colosseum, the band known for its superior musical quality and that of its members. Rock energy, jazzy sophistication, blues soul, and the result on stage – a lightning bomb and charisma. Her performances were known in England and Europe as masterful performances, which were recorded “straight to disc”. It has always been so. Their legendary live album Colosseum Live is among the 10 greatest live albums of all time. Large parts of it will be played in Barbie in early September

The band has loyal fans around the world. Even those who experienced their performances in 1970/71 – are impressed by her to this day. Huge compositions and performances such as “Valentine Suite”, “Lost Angels”, “Stormy Monday Blues”, classics by Pete Brown and Jack Bruce, their friends from the sister band Cream, and more.

The band is led by the amazing guitarist David [Clem] Clempson, and the amazing bass player Mark Clark, members of Colosseum since 1970, since then they were recruited by the genius drummer founder John Heisman, and together with the rare singer with great pathos and operatic drama Chris Farlowe. Chris has a decades-long career of record art. He led the British song parade already in 1966(!) He was a stage animal, kicking and surprising even at the age of 82. A phenomenon that is rare not because of his age but because of his unparalleled style. Farlowe was defined by his friend Mick Jagger as “the voice of British rock!” Also in the band – drummer Malcolm Mortimore (formerly “Gentle Giant”), saxophonist Kim Nishikawa, and keyboardist Nick Steed.

The band has been on the current tour, “Return of a legend”, for two years. Released a new CD “Restoration”. Her members, “Hamim”, in excellent shape, with a burning heart, expressed to their friends in Israel a deep and long-standing desire to perform in Tel Aviv. We are excited and proud to make the exciting dream come true for the fans and the band. We are going to make and experience history together at a very heavy weight.
