On Friday 21st August, Cafe Shapira will be hosting an embroidery sale of AlBustan products! All items are handmade by Jahalin Bedouin women from Al-Azariya in the Jerusalem area.
AlBustan was founded to create meaningful employment opportunities for women in the Jahalin community, find a creative way to fund the building of a new community center to host activities for women and children, and most importantly pass on this beautiful traditional handicraft of Bedouin embroidery as a way of existence as resistance.

ביום שישי 21.8, קפה שפירא מארחת מכירה של מוצרי הרקמה של אל-בוסתאן! כל המוצרים נרקמו בעבודת יד על ידי נשות שבט הג’האלין הבדואי מאזור אלעיזריה שליד ירושלים.
מיזם אל-בוסתאן הוקם כדי ליצור אפיקי תעסוק לנשים מקהילת הג’האלין, וכדי לממן את ההקמה של מרכז קהילתי שיקיים פעילויות לנשים וילדים. וחשוב מכל – להמשיך לקיים את מלאכת היד המסורתית והיפיפייה הזאת, את הרקמה שבעצם קיומה הססגוני מהווה מעשה של התנגדות.

سنستضيف يوم الجمعة 21.8 بيعـًا لمنتجات مبادرة “البستان”! منتجات مطرزة رائعة تم تطريزها يدويًا من قبل نساء قبيلة الجهالين من منطقة العيزرية.
تأسس “البستان” بهدف إيجاد فرص عمل لنساء الجهالين، وتمويل بناء مركز اجتماعي جديد يستضيف فعاليات للأطفال والنساء، والأهم من ذلك – الحفاظ على هذه الحرفة اليدوية التقليدية الجميلة.
