Why do most of us align with the norm and prefer to live the “real life” over chasing our dream?
How can we completely disconnect from everything we’ve ever been taught and find ourselves really?
What do we do after we have found ourselves and how do we bring ourselves to the “normal” world without risking psychiatric hospitalization…?
All these questions will be answered by Idan Mor, a comedian who decided to jump this bungee and chose to live his life anew, this time as his real self – Gadi Wilcherski.
In his lecture “Breaking the Matrix” Idan brings his personal story, which is actually the story of all of us: living in a dilemma between being who we are and looking “okay” to the world and to the people around us.
At the end of the lecture, a section will also be devoted to questions from the audience.
Spoiler: Idan doesn’t know much… he’s just a man who decided to live his life without apologizing, without trying to look okay and without hiding the fact that he talks about himself in the third person.

על כל השאלות האלה יענה עידן מור, קומיקאי שהחליט לקפוץ את הבאנג’י הזה ובחר לחיות את חייו מחדש, הפעם בתור האני-האמיתי שלו – גדי וילצ’רסקי.
בהרצאתו “לשבור את המטריקס” עידן מביא את הסיפור האישי שלו, שהוא בעצם הסיפור של כולנו: החיים בדילמה בין להיות מי שאנחנו לבין להיראות “בסדר” לעולם ולאנשים שסובבים אותנו.
בסוף ההרצאה יוקדש גם חלק לשאלות מהקהל.
ספוילר: עידן לא יודע הרבה… הוא בסך הכל אדם שהחליט לחיות את חייו מבלי להתנצל, מבלי לנסות להיראות בסדר ומבלי להסתיר את העובדה שהוא מדבר על עצמו בגוף שלישי.
