The story of two guys who went to Bollywood to try their hand at India.
Traveling from north to south across different states by train, they finally get to Mumbai where they meet an acting agent. He invites them to a casting and the guys start their careers. But there is one problem, the casting is 900 km from Mumbai. The guys do not despair and get on a motorcycle.
Everything that happens next is a magnificent improvisation with the sole purpose of acting in an Indian film.
This project is a road movie about Indian everyday life, the search for spiritual meaning, and sparkling humor.

Roman Lurie is a director, screenwriter, and producer. A graduate of VGIK. He shoots documentaries and features. For the last 5 years, he has been launching and producing YouTube channels, which is deeply reflected in his documentaries.

The Road to Bollywood is the first part of a trilogy, in each of which the characters travel to different countries to try their way into cinema there. Through the film industry, the characters get to know the country and try their best to act in a movie.
