“BEREGINI: Women and War” – a group exhibition by KakdelArt community of RU&UA-speaking artists.
War is a terrible act of violence affecting many lives… But on this exhibition we want to focus on the role of women at wars, past or present.
Women play an underestimated but active role in wartime. They are faced with unimaginable risks, threats and challenges, and experience war in a multitude of ways.
🙏 As victims, as the most vulnerable part of society.
🙏 As combatants, having as much courage as men to perform feats of bravery and mercy.
🙏 As messengers of peace, striving to protect their close ones and the humanity from the evil.
🙏 And as keepers of threatened cultures, nurturing the seeds of traditional crafts and arts to recover the destroyed heritage.
At the exhibition artists explore this topic at different angles and different mediums.
15% of each sale goes to organizations that support women – victims of the war in Ukraine (Fem Podmoga, Abortions Without Borders).

ברגיני: נשים ומלחמה – תערוכה קבוצתית של קהילת אמנים דוברי רוסית KakdelArt.
מלחמה היא מעשה אלימות נורא המשפיע על חיים רבים… אבל בתערוכה זו אנו רוצים להתמקד בתפקידן של נשים במלחמות, בעבר ובהווה.
נשים ממלאות תפקיד פעיל בזמן המלחמה. הן מתמודדות עם סיכונים בלתי נתפסים, איומים ואתגרים, וחיות מלחמה במספר דרכים.
🙏 כקורבנות, כחלק הפגיע ביותר בחברה
🙏 כלוחמים, שיש להם אומץ רב כמו גברים לבצע מעשי גבורה ורחמים.
🙏 כשליחי שלום, השואפים להגן על קרוביהם ועל האנושות מפני הרוע.
🙏 וכשומרים על תרבויות מאוימות, מטפחים את זרעי המלאכה והאמנויות המסורתיות כדי לשחזר את המורשת ההרוסה.
בתערוכה אמנים חוקרים נושא זה בזוויות שונות ובמדיומים שונים.
