Being an early stage investor – News from the front by Jonathan Saacks, Managing Partner, F2 Capital
Jonathan (Jonny) Saacks is Managing Partner of F2 Capital. Until 2016, Jonny was Managing Partner at Genesis Partners and brings extensive early stage investment experience from his previous roles at operational companies and venture capital funds. Jonny joined Genesis Partners in 2005 and focused on seed and early stage technology investments. Jonny was the founder and partner responsible for The Junction, Israel’s first accelerator, now widely regarded as the leading seed program in Israel. Prior to joining Genesis Partners, Jonny was at Gemini Israel Funds where he concentrated on software investments and fund operations management. Earlier in his career, Jonny was the Head of International Sales and Business Development of UK-based Waterlogic and the first employee at Barak International Telecom Corp., where he was responsible for overseeing product management, marketing and international partnerships and helped the organization grow to 400 employees. Jonny also served for ten years in the Intelligence Corps of the Israeli Defense Forces, commanding large operational teams. Jonny is a Lieutenant Colonel from the IDF and holds an MBA from Oxford University and a BA in Economics and Management from Tel Aviv University.
