Combined art exhibition – Questions to God

The exhibition will be on display for a week until 13.07.23, opening hours: 18:00-23:00, every evening at 20:00 there will be a gallery talk.
10 paintings and 7 poems will be presented in the exhibition.

The book of Job tells the story of a man who experiences crisis, death and destruction and brings his friends to him for comfort.
He raises a fascinating question of wisdom: do man’s good deeds affect God in any way? Another way of looking at the question is, in Tolstoy’s words, “Is there anything in this life that death will not take away?”. However, God’s answer is artistic rather than intellectual – I am the creator, and the creation is mine. The question “why” is never answered by God, for He claims it is part of His creative nature to decide how things should happen and when they should happen.
The artists in the exhibition brought a work of art of a meeting between the profane and the sacred, which occurs when facing the most difficult questions.
